On Friday, March 24th, OHA celebrates 25 years of action with a fundraising CD release concert and dinner at the Community Cultural Center of Tonasket. Highland Voices is a compilation album that expresses our sense of place, concern for conservation and clean water, and the beauty of our natural world. Join us for an evening of delicious food, original music, drawings for special items, auctions, and appreciation for the people who have been a part of OHA over the years.

YWCA’s 60th Anniversary Orange Carpet Affair, is YWCA’s major fundraiser for 2017. We will roll out the ‘Orange Carpet’ for our many donors, volunteers, and constituents to help celebrate 60 amazing years of service to our community! We invite you to join us for heavy hors d’oeuvres and no host bar and entertainment on Friday, March 24th 2017 at Red Lion Hotel. We hope you will join us both in person. All proceeds go to the YWCA NCW provides critical housing services to homeless populations.

Youth bowling league is for children ages 5-19. Beginners are always welcome. League runs from now through the end of March (possibly into April). Our youngest bowlers K-2nd grade bowl 2 games and our older bowlers 3rd -12th grade bowl 3 games each week. Coaches are available each week to help bowlers learn the sport of bowling.

James Levine conducts a rare Met revival of Mozart’s Idomeneo, set in the aftermath of the Trojan War. Jean-Pierre Ponnelle’s classic production, which has its first Met revival in over a decade this season, stars Matthew Polenzani in the title role. The cast also includes Elza van den Heever as Elettra, Nadine Sierra as Ilia, Alice Coote as Idamante, and Alan Opie as Arbace.

Icicle Valley Trout Unlimited Chapter #391is hosting a fishing equipment and general outdoor gear exchange at the covered playground at Osborn Elementary School in Leavenworth. There is no charge to attend as a buyer. Donations to the Chapter’s conservation and youth education projects are welcome. Sellers will be charged $10 for a 10’ X 10’ space to display their wares. Children under nine years old receive a free fishing rod and reel while supplies last. See website for additional details.

Prenatal Yoga is an excellent way to prepare your body and mind for labor and parenthood while relieving many pains and discomforts of pregnancy. These classes combine strength training, flexibility, balancing poses and breath work that are designed for both the novice and experienced yoga practitioner. Safe modifications of standard yoga postures will be offered. Come connect with other pregnant women in our community while taking care of your body and baby. All stages of pregnancy welcome!

A Silver Sneaker FLEX Class- Improve cardiovascular fitness, joint mobility and blood circulation. You can sit or exercise unassisted. The class will meet : 1/16, 1/23, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27. Chronic pain is a complex, multi-dimensional condition that can have profound effects on every aspect of a person’s life. Activities that were once easy and a source of joy are lost. Everyone has advice, and yet no one can really understand your particular pain experience.This class teaches participants ways to effectively take charge of their own pain management and lower your pain levels. Join with others who have similar challenges.

Toddler Group meets at noon Mondays at the Wenatchee Library, in addition to Mother-Baby group at 1:00 pm The group meets downstairs in the Children’s Wing. This play-time focuses on movement, exploration, and learning to play together. It’s also a time for parents to visit, connect, and find ongoing support.
